Hot Topics in Emergency Radiology

      In this issue, we believe that we have assembled an excellent group of highly regarded, leading experts focusing on high-yield and timely topics that are relevant to the practicing emergency radiologist. Herein, we include topics and areas of emerging research that may be new to some radiologists. Topics include multienergy CT in the setting of trauma, the use of enteric contrast in the Emergency Department, intimate partner violence and elder abuse, a head-to-toe review of oncologic emergencies, a panel discussion focused on the challenges of starting an emergency radiology division, wound ballistics for the emergency radiologist, imaging of traumatized pregnant patient, imaging of peripheral vascular trauma, and a multimodality imaging review of soft tissue infections.
